Course Description
Upon completion of this class the participant will be able to know how to manage cardiorespiratory emergencies by using the systematic ACLS guidelines of the American Heart Association, (AHA).
You will know how to evaluate and manage a sudden adult respiratory arrest, VF/VT arrest, asystole, pulseless electrical activity, bradycardias, stable and unstable tachycardias, acute coronary syndromes, & acute stroke.
Courses are devided into 3 sections:
- Class emphasis on rhythm recognition & interventions, pharmacologic therapies, use of an aed & more.
- Hands on practice including cardiac rhythms and airway.
- Written evaluations and Megacode testing

Pricing depends on the number of participants & certifications needed. Examples: BLS Healthcare Provider $70 with book.

Note about ACLS Training:
*Books / review packets are needed before class, sufficient time is needed to review and acls has significantly changed since 2006JKL
Two options: 1. Take a regularly scheduled class at our location, or call or email us to come to you for groups of 5 or more. 2. Take the "blended learning" acls class that consists of buying a book and cd from the aha or another website, study on your own and take the tests and then take the practical test with us. If you wish to take the blended style class, Pick "Heartcode ACLS" here (When finished this at home study option, you must take "hands-on" practical skill test with us and pay another fee ($99) to receive a card.

4. What types of certification cards do you distribute? We are authorized providers of American Heart Association AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Red Cross and ASHI certifications.
5. Do I have to pay online? No, but you must enter all your information so we can hold your seat (at the bottom of the schedule link page, when it says select method of payment, click "invoice" to pay by cash or check).
6. BLS - How can I take the online American Heart Healthcare Provider BLS class? Go to www.onlinetrainingplace.com take this exam for $17.50 Print this out, sign up for one of our "hands-on" practical exams (or email us) that take 30 minutes to complete and costs $40 for a 2 year aha card.
7. ACLS - How can I sign up for an acls class? Check out our online schedule...we have 3 a month at our location, but we may be able to assist you at your own location as well for groups of 5 or more. You have two options to take the acls course. The first is a regular classroom training that is recommended (study with books or our emailed review material ahead of time). Your second option is that you can take the at home "Heartcode ACLS course" (pay the fee) here and then take a 1.5 hour practical skills session with us on a later date that costs $99.
